​​​​​Artist Statement:

一件物件給留下來，是因為這物件對它的主人來說充滿意義。雖然每件物件都是中性的，但它也可以令人聯想起一個回憶、一件舊事、或一段關係。物件證明著過去，物主看重它所以將之保存，物件亦成為歷史的遺物。



不過，隨年月過去，物件所代表的意義漸漸淡化。物主曾保存物件，以保留回憶，但一段時間後，在有意或無意之間，被保存物件可能會被遺忘或遺棄。



從這些被遺下的物件中，隱隱可看到原物主的故事。每一件物件仍然令觀者聯想到物主的記憶、舊事、或關係。 



People would like to keep some objects those are meaningful to them. Although an object should be neutral, however, it can be an association of a memory, a past event, or a relationship. People regard the objects as valuable evidences, so they keep them, and the objects will become something like relic.



However, the value of these objects can be washed out by time. People keep the objects to retain the memories, but may forget or forsake them after a period of time. The varied reasons of an object becomes abandoned may be intentional or accidental.



Stories of the objects owners can be told from these abandoned objects. Each object is still an association or a signifier of a memory, a past event, or a relationship.
