​​​​​Artist Statement:

我青少年的時候就離開了家裡居住在外. 我生活在香港, 台灣, 還有加拿大, 這樣的生活方式始我關心起自我的身分,還有人與地的關係.

我請和我有相似背景的人讓我拍攝他們的影像, 我要求他們按照他們自己的方式在他們平時生活的空間讓我進行拍攝.

通過觀察環境與他們臉上的表情, 回應我的是他們直接臉上的表情還有肢體動作.

這一分作品的目的為的就是表達暫居者他們與生活環境上的情感, 也同時是我自身的像徵. 



I have left my hometown since I was a teenager. My life resides in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Canada. This way of living style concerns me that the self-identity and the relationship with place where people live.



Instead portrait myself in this project, I asked people have similar life experience as me let me shoot their photos. I want them to express themselves with their own peace in the environment where their daily life takes.



Through my way of observing, I think they have responded me their true feeling from their facial expressions or pose to me, how ease or difficult they are with the environment.



Every purpose in this project is to convey what is a sojourner, their affection with the place where they are living also symbol the reflections of my own personal life.
